Walk to Defeat ALS – November 5

Mark your calendars for November 5, 2011.  This year's Walk to Defeat ALS will be held on that date at Stonebridge Church.  We will again be walking and raising money as Team Anderson.  Karen Eckart is our team captain this year, and you can reach her at karen.eckhart@yahoo.com

New Clinical Trial

We started the new clinical trial last month.  It is a stage III trial sponsored by Knopp pharmaceuticals and Biogen.  It is a global stud involving more than 800 participants.  It is testing the effectiveness of dexpramipexole on slowing ALS disease progression.  It is a 12 month study, so cross your fingers crossed…
